The Brief

Inspired by Scandinavia’s capital, the recently completed Nobis Hotel in the heart of Stockholm is an eclectic and eccentric mix of modern design in classical space. Located on the historic Norrmalmstorg square, the architects Claesson Koivisto Rune were faced with the challenge of both restoring and re-designing two adjacent 19th century buildings from original residential apartments.
