London Graphic Centre Installation
A giant and truly eye-catching art installation was recently unveiled at the London Graphic Centre’s flagship store in Covent Garden. The 20ft installation, inspired by light refracting through a prism, is made up from hundreds of graphic art materials sourced from the store itself. Designed and created by studioXAG, a design team that specialises in retail displays – the labour intensive installation took over 100 hours to make and showcases a selection of materials by graphics brands such as Winsor and Newton, Daler Rowney, C’aran D’ache, Creatacolour, Davinci, ProArte, Pantone Letraset Tria and Stabilo. The display is situated in the vast entrance area of the store, on the corner intersect of Mercer and Shelton Street. The inspirational piece across a broad colour spectrum will undoubtedly attract the attention of street-bound London shoppers and design fans alike…
