Trend-setting hotel chain push the boat(plane) out…

You may think you’re in an episode of Hawaii Five-O or on honeymoon in the Indian Ocean perhaps – but what’s that? The Empire State Building? Wake up, you’re in New York; it’s another typically outlandish scheme from André Balazs and his Standard Hotels chain. With a little help from New York’s Shoreline Aviation, the trend-setting and decidedly hip hotel chain are making the infamously tiresome trek from Manhattan to The Hamptons that little bit easier this year, with their bizarre but brilliant StndAIR. What’s more is, in line with the brand’s ‘luxury for less’ ethos; you can pick up rates from as low as $30 with their unique “Play the Flight Board” social platform – what are you waiting for?
